Laura and Alex are old pals from their school days, brought closer by the bad decision-making abroad that was the catalyst for Worst Laid Plans. Full of life and love when they landed in Ireland, they left a little less naive and with one hell of a party story. But it turned out they weren’t the only ones with sexual skeletons lurking in, and in some cases out of, the closet. And so Worst Laid Plans was born and the stories kept coming and coming…even though Laura and Alex didn’t.
Alexandra Lydon is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a dual degree in Drama and Psychology. Alexandra created Worst Laid Plans with Laura Kindred after a tragically drunken evening in Galway, Ireland, and has played the role of producer, co-writer, and cast member since its conception. Alexandra is an actress currently living in LA. Some of her credits include the leading role in the independent film Nail Polish, television appearances on Desperate Housewives, House, Private Practice, CSI, NCIS, Cold Case, and recurring roles on CSI Miami, Prison Break, and 24.
Alexandra is attracted to emotionally unavailable, self-sabotaging, preferably alcoholic men, whom she thinks she can change.
